The Niagara Flapperless toilet is a revolution in water conservation. The Flapperless toilet is maintenance free requiring no flappers, chains, or levers to replace - and uses only 1.28 GPF!

The Niagara Flapperless Toilet, an innovative redesign of the standard flapper style toilets, substantially increases water efficiency and decreases water bills immediately. There is no double-flushing; one flush will thoroughly clear the bowl every time. This no leak, no sweat tank toilet out-flushes 3.5 GPF monsters. The Niagara flapperless technology is in the water bucket's simplicity. Using the power of gravity, a touch of the handle topples the bucket, creating a powerful flush that will always clear the bowl. Unlike flapper-and-chain toilets which can leak through broken or worn out rubber flappers, the EcoLogic toilet will not continue to run after flushing and is guaranteed not to overflow .

Niagara’s new EcoLogic High Efficiency Toilet (HET) is designed to look and work like a conventional model: one handle, no buttons, and no instruction manual necessary.  But a look under the hood reveals a different story. A regular toilet has a rubber flapper to hold back the water and control the flush which is generally made of recycled materials, which eventually deteriorate from the chemicals in the water. Unless the flapper is replaced regularly – and how likely is that? – deterioration will lead to slow leaks and wasted water.

Rather than count on people to perform regular maintenance inside their toilet tank, the Ecologic toilet is designed as maintenance free product. It uses the same flapperless technology of other Niagara toilets. It’s a proprietary bucket design which eliminates all the seals in a toilet. The flush water is contained in the bucket until the user gently depresses the handle.

How it Works

EcoLogic toilets achieve their 1.28 gallon per flush (GPF) performance by using a smaller bucket than the Niagara’s other 1.6 GPF models, along with a redesign of the trap-way and flushing system inside of the porcelain.  Dual jets have been added to the bowl to siphon the water in for extra flushing power. There are a lot of improvements in toilet bowl hydraulics that have allowed us to bring the flow down.  A small funnel has also been added to the bottom of the tank to give it extra power.

The Ecologic Flapperless Toilet will never leak, and will forever remain a 1.28 GPF toilet. Niagara Flapperless Toilets are available in four styles: Ecologic 1.28 GPF Comfort Height ( ADA approved) Elongated, Standard Flapperless 1.6 GPF Round Front, and Standard Flapperless 1.6 GPF Comfort Height (ADA approved)  Elongated.  All four toilets boast a huge 11" x 20" footprint to cover unsightly flooring.

To place skeptics of ultra-low flush technology at ease, EcoLogic toilets were placed through some extensive trials. The one that is most commonly used for California and now the rest of the country is called the maximum performance test (MaP).” The Ecologic toilet not only passed the test, but exceeded minimum testing standards by more than sixty percent.

Niagara’s Earth Showerhead

A long, hot shower takes away the chill of winter, but with heating oil running nearly $3 a gallon, it's a pricy way to get warm. The standard shower head uses up to seven gallons of water per minute. The Earth Massage Showerhead from Niagara Conservation uses as little as 1.5 gallons of water per minute, which can save more than 11,000 gallons of hot water per year.  It is both water-efficient and stylish, and performs with maximum water pressure at optimum efficiency.

The 1.5 GPM adjustable spray of the Niagara Earth Showerhead delivers a broad, rain-like spray or a focused, pulsating massaging spray. It is self-cleaning, and the non-aerated spray means less temperature loss between the Niagara Earth showerhead and you. An internal presure compensation device helps regulate consistant water flow and temperature. The Niagara Earth showerheads are constructed from high impact thermally fused ABS plastic with a chrome or white finish and a chrome plated brass collar. Standard 1/2" inside threads.
